Hope Case Foundation Partnership - New Project!!

The Hope Case Foundation is a non-profit company located in the Busia and Namayingo Districts in Eastern Uganda. Plant a Tree Nation is working with the Hope Case Foundation to implement an agroforestry project that will set up tree nursery beds to raise tree seedlings for distribution to smaller holding farmers groups and young farmers clubs for planting in their gardens. These groups will also be trained in agroforestry and agronomy to help reduce land degradation and carbon emissions, as well as to improve agricultural productivity and to mitigate the impact of climate change in the Busia and Namayingo Districts in Eastern Uganda.
We are working with the Hope Case Foundation to raise funds for this new initiative. You can help us and farmers in Eastern Uganda by donating to this wonderful project using the donation form below. Fall 2023
Our initial impulse was to start planting trees in Eastern Europe (Romania), but we found no available tree seedlings ready to be planted. So starting this fall, we would like to locate native trees and collect seeds as soon as they mature. The plan is to store them over the winter and plant them the following spring.
We are looking to connect with local volunteers that know the affected areas, the language, and are willing to help, so together we can help forests start regenerating themselves faster. If you are able to help us, please get in contact with Plant a Tree Nation using the contact information below or our chat box to the right!
